I am an author and an environmental impact investor.

My investment focus is on sustainably managed farmland and forestry. I own a farm in New Zealand which is in its second year of organic conversion and hold a non-executive directorship in Agro-Ecological Investment Management, a GIIRS Pioneer (Global Impact Investing Rating System) focused on ecologically managed farmland. I am a founding partner of Eucalis Comercial de Madeiras, a sustainable forestry firm headquartered in the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

I am the author of seven books of poetry, the most recent of which are Weather Derivatives (Eyewear Publishing) and Shelf 1-15 (corrupt press). I teach creative writing at NYU Paris as part of their MA program in French-English Literary Translation.

I am currently volunteering with Divest-Invest to help accelerate the transition to a just and sustainable economy that is 100% powered by renewable energy.
