Kjell Kühne is a German educator, global citizen and climate visionary based in Mexico. He leads the Leave it in the Ground Initiative (LINGO) that facilitates the transition to a society where coal, oil and gas are kept in the ground. He has worked and contributed to sustainable development, education, rainforest protection, community healthcare, climate change and intercultural exchange work on five continents. He supports the children's organization Plant-for-the-Planet and facilitates the efforts of the global students' Climate Strike on the first day of COP21. Kjell is fluent in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Indonesian and Lingala.
