Florence has previously worked in communications and community-building roles at non-profit organisations such as FrontlineSMS and the Humanitarian Centre, and she currently works at the Network of Wellbeing (NOW). She holds her BA in International Relations and Development Studies (University of Sussex, UK) and her MA in Anthropology and Development (Leiden University, the Netherlands). Florence wrote her MA thesis on de-growth and the Transition movement, exploring the economic and behavioural shifts being enacted in the face of climate change and other influencing factors. Florence's role at the Network of Wellbeing is to coordinate a fast-growing online community. She helps to manage much of NOW’s online communications, including social media, plus the blog and e-newsletter. Florence also helps support on NOW's partnership work with Friends of the Earth, and other organisations working on wellbeing.
