The Transformational Media Summit brings together changemaker, innovators, creatives and media professionals to explore solutions to sustainable living and the stories and media that can help create the change.
The workshop consists of an opening plenary, followed by two interactive sessions:
Introduction to the day by Gilles Vanderpooten, Editor, Reporters D'Espoirs.
Innovation and sustainability – How can we innovate through business and public services to create a greener future? What innovative solutions are there for sustainable living? Participants can choose to join a group with an expert facilitator from these topics: Energy, transport, housing, food & agriculture, and economy.
Creating a new story – How can we create a new story through media and culture that inspires people to live sustainably? Connecting the personal and the global - how reaching our highest potential helps lead to collective benefit.
Themes include: sustainable business, social impact media, green lifestyles, and constructive journalism.
